At The Jersey Pawz, we want you to have a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. To that end, we’ve compiled a FAQ list below that covers the most common questions we receive. WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We started this journey because we did not like the packaging that we had to put in our landfills and pushed through recycling centers. We had 6 dogs and too much packaging associated with other fresh food subscriptions. We wanted to limit the waste. This is why we have chosen to stay local and offer weekly pick up at our store, or delivery to customers in the area. All deliveries require someone present to accept so that the product can be refrigerated or frozen, immediately.
WHAT’S THE MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?
Pricing is based on 28 days, or 4 weeks and takes into consideration various factors: dog's current weight v. ideal weight, activity levels, whether your pup is intact, and age. Please submit a pricing inquiry for our team to review and provide you the pricing of your customized meal plan.
WHY IS MY DOG DRINKING LESS WATER ON FRESH FOOD?
Fresh food has a higher moisture content and offsets a dogs hydration requirements. You may notice that your dog is drinking less water when on a fresh food plan, as a result. This is alarming to dog parents, at first, but is completely normal. Of course fresh water should always be available to your dog, especially when the weather is warmer or they are enjoying more exercise.
DO YOU HAVE A RECIPE FOR DIABETIC DOGS?
We do not have a recipe which we can claim is formulated for diabetic dogs. We are in the process of working with Veterinary Nutrition consultants and can discuss needs for this population with them. Please feel free to sign up for updates and we will certainly reach out to all subscribers with recipe/formula updates.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
We cannot accept returns as this is a perishable product. If you are unsatisfied, please reach out to discuss the issue with us for appropriate resolution.
